There are so many voices telling women who they are and should aspire to be. ‘Acceptable’ is often shaped by cultural, societal norms, or personal preference. Strong-willed women are portrayed as anomalies, pressured to suppress themselves, and at times vilified in churches where sermons on Mary and Martha are taught more so than Deborah and Jael. It’s no wonder many women hate God (yes, even Christians), reject Him without knowing who He is, and see being female as something to overcome (both men and women). To top it off, we have forgotten that we are sisters, and are quick to point our swords at each other, rather than the issues we were put here to slay.
We have work to do.
On the first Saturday of each month at 9a EST/8a CST, join me for just five (5) minutes of prayer specifically for strong-willed women who are often bombarded by so many voices they can’t hear their own, yet alone God’s.
A five (5)-week mini-course will be released shortly. The goal is for women to hear for themselves what God really thinks of them, what He actually says about them, and our identity as His daughters. This is open to ALL women regardless of belief.
What This Is: Women-only. An opportunity for us to get things off our chest, get real honest, move forward, and run alongside other women in pursuit of their spaces.
What This is NOT: Male-bashing. Replacement for therapy. Attempt to ‘trick’ you into Christianity. (God’s Word will be presented (NKJV Bible). What you do or don’t do with it is up to you.)
